--- Quote from: Plainsongs on September 29, 2013, 11:14:16 AM ---That's somewhat what I was thinking! Hey, with you being good with the whole cover area, is there a good way to make a nice split cover, or is the whole SMB/Duck Hunt-design the closest you'll get to a decent one? --- End quote --- Part of the magic of your newer idea is that the covers could be designed however you like. No one has combined the games like you have (that I know of) so while we won't have any covers readily available for you, you can design them to look however you think looks best. We'll gladly give input wherever we can, so long as you request it. I think a symbol on the front cover, at the center, with roman numerals above and below the symbol. In the case of Mega Man, something like Mega Man's helmet (or an E Tank), with I up top and II at the bottom (for the first two games). Or the logo instead of a helmet. Ultra-simplistic, maybe, but I'm sure Wiggy could take that idea and run with it. Or come up with something much better. Just throwing ideas out there. |

--- Quote from: Arseen on September 29, 2013, 11:29:20 AM --- Maybe some sort of front image with Mega Man in the middle and sides lined with 16 bosses from each 2 games? In place of the "missing" 2 Mega Man 1 bosses use Protoman and Roll. For back cover just backs of the famicom boxes of the 2 games. For the Big box dr. Light on the front, dr.Willy on the back. In sper fancy artistic style. --- End quote --- That could actually work, I'm looking into some cover art right now, I'm thinking of maybe grabbing and vectorizing at least one element from both of the games that will be encased and play around with them and like build the art thematically, so I love your idea! By the way, any chance you have a quick and rough description of the mounting process in this case? I'm thinking that since there's going to be two carts I REALLY don't want them flopping around in there, so I'm unsure about the regular foam strip tape-solution. --- Quote from: Seraph Man on September 29, 2013, 01:37:40 PM --- Part of the magic of your newer idea is that the covers could be designed however you like. I like the simplistic part, and might mix your idea with Arseens regarding the Light/Wily-concept contra your simple logo concept. ;D |

I'd buy foam sheet, cut out ALL of the tabs in the UGC, then trim the foam to fit and hold the 2 fami games completely on its own. |

Sorry for. The absence, moving and being sick postponed my TCP-activity! Does anyone have the PSDs for this? --- Quote from: Akumu on August 01, 2010, 03:08:44 AM ---Toying around a bit with some Famicom covers --- End quote --- And was decided on the Famicom template? Although whatever covers I make fort he series will be custom, I want it to be uniform with the rest of my collection when put on a shelf. Also, any vectorized a Rockman logo is welcome. |
