I just printed my first ever cover on semi-gloss and it looks fantastic, just WOW! Although, the cover is a little bigger than the UGC? I did landscape legal size 8,5 by 14 with Top 11,5 Bottom 11,5 Left ,5 Right ,5 margins. is that correct? or is it all ,5 margins?

Let me know thanks! I'll post up pictures of the semi-gloss when I get it all in the cover... I want to avoid wasting the paper by doing try and error attemps. hehe.

About all our covers are sized correctly so make sure is set scaling to 100% put centering on on both horizontal and vertical (margins can be 0 it does not matter as long as the image fits to the page).

Few oddballs will try to print out size of pillow cases, cure to this is scaling at 32%.
I think there was one cover that needed to be scaled at 16%, and one where the scaling was way higher (like 200?).

The newer UGC's are just slightly smaller (width) than the older ones.

I usually just trim a small bit off the back of the cover to get it to fit.

Thanks guys, Arseen was right - I forgot to make the scale 100%, silly me. And yeah, it's pretty snug in the case so I'll get used to cutting just right eventually.

EDIT: I'll post pictures later tonight with the printed cover and in the UGC so you can see the quality :) I might get regular legal sized paper this week just to try out the difference.

This is very true (and why you'll find that my UGC covers are a tinge smaller). So just be aware that you may still have to cut a MM or two from each side even when the scaling is correct.

This is just the beginning !  ;D To be honest, I'm pretty pleased with the results. The semi-gloss is looking good. Although, I'll still test standard legal size paper this week to see if the semi-gloss is worth investing in.
