I don't mind modding cases because I have to do it anyways for Gameboy Color games. I just need a website that sells quality uniform cases pref black.

I think you are talking about the Genesys cases that SeymorOnion posted about but apparently those were made to fit the DS Lite dust cover so they also need to be modded to fit GBA games correctly.

That sounds about right, thank you. But at the same time, I mod about 70% of my ds cases anyway to fit manuals so I don't really kind that.

Well...... I don't want to jump the gun here....

BUT! I am working with a company in China (Who is actually the plant who makes Nindendo's DS cases) And I am working on creating a GB/GBC/GBA game case. :-) It will be the exact color and quality as the Authentic Nintendo DS cases.

:-D

I am waiting on the quote for the "Stamps" and price per unit.

Like I said, I don't want to jump the gun quite yet. :-)

I'm confused as to what the top slot is for on these cases as the description says they wont fit game boy carts.

If this is the same plant then you should be able to get the cases made without paying for a mold, since theoretically they already have the mold (they just need to block out the logos).

I've heard that they are designed to fit the DS Lite GBA Cartridge Slot Blocker Thingies. I honestly don't know what they're called, but my wife's Pink DS Lite came with one. It's a "plug" that goes into the GBA slot when it's not in use, colored and finished identically to the color and finish of your DS Lite. I have absolutely no clue if it serves any other purpose, and if I did I've long since forgotten.

That is what it is for is the slot 2 cover. Which is kind of pointless. But the case can be easily modified to fit the GBA cart. Just cut out the top middle tab. And no. there is no real purpose to there being a PCB in it other than to help keep the contacts clean.

Hmm.. I might get one and see how well they work with GBA games.

I will say though. It may fit a little bit looser that the ones that actually held GBA games. But it's not really that bad.

Sources: past experience  :P

Those are nice (Real Nintendo Case) But I hate how 1 out of 4 are just plane dented/ scratched. I purchased around 80 of these a few months back at $1.10each shipped and I was only able to use about 60 of them. :(

I've actually been looking for the same thing. My case is a little different. I actually found awesome quality cases and bought about 20 of them. Then I added a bunch of games to my collection and I forgot where I purchased them from. I've bought the square deal ones and they're crap, plastic is cheap, plastic sleeve is cheap, boxy. They just suck.

The awesome batch of cases I have look exactly like the Genesis DTP cases that were posted (the slot is designed for the DS LIte GBA slot placeholder). Same graphic even. Except mine were dark black. They are darker black than the Square Deal. In order to fit GBA games you have to cut the top part. The GBA games are bigger than the DS lite place holder.

If anyone knows where to find them, that would be awesome. They are by far the best cases. I actually like them better than the official DS cases because they're black.
