There doesn't seem to be an official cover on here, so I've searched through the forums and I've only been able to turn up the Genesis version covers. While searching on Google, I did come upon this: http://www.retrogamecases.com/shop/super-nintendo/nhlpa-hockey-93/

Did somebody here make that or was that the website's own doing since there are templates for vertical SNES covers?

If someone here did make that, could you please upload a link of it?

Thanks in advance.

Judging from the preview of back, and for the fact that I don't have that stored, I'd say it's their doing.

Doing that cover should be easy though, I'll probably give it a try when I next time have few days off.

Ok I am wondering if someone could help me. I am fairly new to Photoshop and think i understand most of the pieces. But I am wondering if there is a better way to clean up what i cleaned up below.

If you look at the Original and Fixed images. In the Fixed image i manually masked and erased all of the blue side bar and re-filled. I also manually re-traced the lettering since i have no idea what font that is. I then masked and filled the EASN logo at the top. This took an extremely long time. I am wondering if someone could walk me through what they would do to fix what i did in the images below. Oh, I also used a Smart Blue to clear up the faces on the left a little. (but i am not finished with those yet)

Thanks. Just trying to learn so that i can make great, or at least good, covers.

Here is my "in progress" cover. The front is pretty much done except for the company logo. I had to do a lot of hand touch up. Please let me know what you think. Also if you have suggestions on what photoshop tools to use I would appreciate it. It took 2 hours to get to this point.

Yeah looking good already.

I think the red bar and buck need strenghtening in color jist a bit to make them more vibrant.

And at all possible try to edit that text by the players legs.

I already see how to turn that into Vertical cover.

Here is my current in progress on this cover

I adjusted the color for the front. I added the EA Sports logo with the correct color and did the spine. The White EASN logo was tricky. Curious if you think that is ok.

Will post more tomorrow.

Looks good. Only the fronts EASN logo's E's top bar is jaggedy.

I think it's good enough for me to steal and do Vertical later today. I gotta try to edit out that text by the legs myself ( ijust don't like it there). ;D
