Its time to buy a new console...... The only two consoles that I do not have are the PS Vita and the Wii U (Oh and I already pre-orderd the PS4 and I plan to pick up the Xbox one in a few years.  ;D) I want the PS Vita because of, UMVC3, Walking Dead, Jak and Daxter HD Collection, playstation all starts, and Persona. But the PS Vita is becoming a console, and it really is not portable....... Its huge lol. I want the wii u for pikman 3, Wind waker HD, Smash brothers, and any upcoming zelda/mario/ or metroid titles. How is the Wii U? Is it worth it? How Is the PS-Vita? I loved my PSP 3000 and Go, so I have some high expectations for the Vita :) from what I have seen it looks phenomenal.

UPDATE*

I wanted to buy the Zelda bundle. But I now if I do I will be hesitant to open it :/ If I kept it in its packaging, It could be worth something down the line.  upon realizing that I came to the conclusion I wouldn't open it. But I really want to actually have a wii u to use. All the games I listed are on other systems. I just like the idea on having them on the go.

I now know the answer is obvious and this was a stupid question to even ask. I will preorder and purchases the Wind Waker Wii U. And Contemplate and stare at it for months until I decided to open it lol

I'm fairly meh about both, the only reason I'm getting a Wii U now is the Zelda bundle with the special controller.

I would say the Wii U, it has more games exclusive to the system, Pikmin 3, Mario/Luigi U, Nintendo Land, Smash Bros, Zomi U, and probably a few others.
The games you listed off for the Vita are on other systems, I think.
I have not payed any attention to the Vita though. So i know nothing about it.
I like the Wii U, I played on a friends system, but there is a big lack of games, but there are a few good titles.

If prolly go with the vita since BL2 is coming out on it. I'm really hesitant about both though truthfully. Not enough there for me to be like, "OMG I WANT THAT SYSTEM!!"
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Same here :/ I do want smash brothers though. I loved modding Brawl, and putting in my own roster. I look forward to screwing around with the new SSB on the wii U. But I have to say I love borderlands 2 and it isn't really helping the wii u's case right now, damn it lol.

I do suggest getting a Wii U as opposed to a Vita. You can get a Vita TV later, for cheaper than the original system.
My LPs Channel. Currently playing Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Resident Evil 2.

While one may think that a sealed Zelda edition may be worth something in the future -- unless you plan on holding onto it for quite a while I wouldn't hold my breath.

Sealed Gold Zelda editions of Nintendo DS Lite with PH are going for pretty much their original retail price at this point.
Sealed Black Zelda editions of Nintendo 3DS with OoT are going for their original price (or in some instances quite a bit less) -- I know that's system bundle is only about a year out from its release but just an example.

IMO the Gamestop exclusive of a physical WWHD with the Ganondorf figure will probably be more valuable than a sealed Zelda Wii U Bundle. Those things sold out quick and are already fetching over double their retail cost. Wishing I'd pre-ordered two of them so I could keep one sealed (as I'm pretty confident I"ll be opening mine up and putting the figurine next to my other Zelda stuff).

yeah, it won't increase THAT much in value. if anything i'd be a bit hesitant cuz i don't wanna wear it out, but what good is a piece of hardware if it's not being used. already got a regular wiiu tho so i'm passing on the zelda bundle, but i DO have a SMB anniversary DSi XL that i use regularly.

edit: re:original topic - vita is taking off and has a solid library already, but a fuckton of those are ports if that's a problem to you. the PSVita TV will probably do a lot expand the library down the line. wiiu is still in quite a pathetic state and the last year has been absolutely dreadful, but there's some real good stuff coming up.

This.

Get it. Play it. Don't worry about it too much.

Zelda bundles are only different on the gamepad, otherwise, meh. I have a wiiu and a vita and I have since moved the wiiu into my son's room as I never play it, maybe a bit when windwaker HD comes out but I still really want my trophies lol.

Vita is fun, everything I have played for it I have for the most part enjoyed I just don't do as much traveling or have as much free time to truly enjoy it lately.

Let the Zelda Wii U run free!
Looking at the other bundles, the value will only go up a couple hundred, and that will be wasted if you just buy another Wii U.

Just keep everything in good condition.
