I'm really so unhappy with iOS 7, I just had to send a letter to apple. I know it will prolly accomplish nothing but it made me feel kinda better. Maybe it will you too just to read it. Or maybe you may think I'm just an unhappy mutant asshole... Who knows?
Anyway here it is.
"I'm sorry but your whole new iOS 7 is "THE" problem.
I'll make a list:
1. When you try to put a new wallpaper on your screen, the set and scale function is now almost unusable. You can't zoom out and it keeps centering itself on the screen. Oh and reduce motion doesn't really fix it either.
2. The volume is now translucent instead of transparent? Seriously? This hinders whatever you are doing in the moment.
3. In the general settings app, everything has been moved around or removed completely. Why would this even be done? It makes everything confusing and hard to set it the way you need it to be.
4. The new notification center looks like someone took a crap on your screen. It's a mess and a pain to find what actually matters.
5. Folders are now worthless, Sure it is great I can now fit unlimited apps in one folder, but you cant see them! They get lost and you have to search for them. They also show less apps than before! You see 9 apps now instead of 12. Isn't the folders to make the apps easier to find and sort? Fail...
6. In safari, you used to be able to press the back/forward/switch page/etc. buttons whenever because they were always visible. Now they are not. You have to go back up for them to appear.
7. The flat pastel look of the apps themselves is horrible. It looks like you had a 5th grade girl who knows a little about photoshop come in to make the new faces of the apps. If I wanted my phone to look girly or gay I would have bought a pink case for my phone.
8. More apps for the trash folder. I'm completely tired of having apps on my phone that will never in my life be used. Stocks, Newstand, Passbook, Game Center. These are all Worthless apps to over 90% of the earths population! They are not wanted or needed!
9. Some of these apps new internals are an eyesore. I mean they literally hurt my eyes to look at. Almost every app now has a white background, and even if that's not the whole case, Things in general are just harder to read/look at without giving yourself a headache.
10. Need the ability to customize control center.
To whoever reads this, I'm sure this is most likely not your fault, but iOS 7 is the biggest pile of shit that I've ever had to deal with. It's almost like Apple and Microsoft teamed up to see who could make the worst OS's.
So... "SOME" of your new operating system is good, but until these issues get fixed, I will continue to be a very unhappy customer. Really, I just want to be back on iOS 6.
