Had no probs with my 500GB 2.5" drive. I would not go for 7200rpm though as it could get a bit hot then. |

I think 750 gig 5400rpm 2.5" is the best max option. |

Just giving my personal experience, I've had a Phat PS3 and a Slim. The Phat one did crap on me, it worked great until it started acting weird with only blu-rays (be it games or movies) I had to replace the drive. My slim on the other hand, never had any problem with it at all, been working like a charm for the past 2-3 years! |

My Phat one works otherwise perfect but it does not read any discs. Slim works perfect. I would not buy super slim as the disc door looks too easy to break. |
