this just in - http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9
sounds like it'll be a sidescrolling platformer like the original series, tho in the pitch he mentions how disappointed he was with the cancellation of legends 3 and wants to make up for it. not a huge megaman buff myself, but i'll def toss some cash at this project once i've gotten some sleep.

Retro Deckades:

I will totes purchase this if it comes to Wii U. If it turns out to be a stretch goal, then I will contribute!

Forte:

Dude, how is he not going to get sued for this?!  It's like, exactly a Megaman game!  Did you see the character art in the video?  Among tons of others, Roll and Rush are pretty much copied exactly  ???

Either way, I'm pretty amped.  That said, I'm with RD up there.  I only want it if it's gonna hit consoles. ZERO desire to play this on a PC.

The last item in their list of stretch goals is porting this game to the PS3, 360, and Wii U. It would have to reach $2,500,000, which is a lot, but this thing is catching on like wildfire, so who knows?
