Has anyone figured out how to delete the save data on this game? (Angry Birds Trilogy 3DS)
I've been on hold with activision a support line for 10 minutes now and every time the computer says how long I've got to wait the time keeps getting longer. I'm now at 40 minutes of wait time...

:EDIT:

Ok just in case this ever helps anyone, I was on the phone for 52 minutes waiting for an answer...
Come to find out there is no legitimate way to erase the save data on this game.

Seriously?  :-\

The guy on the phone sent me an email showing me how to delete data off my system.
(I already knew this wasn't going to work, but I said ok and just got the phone all over with.)

Meanwhile since the info he sent me was soon proven not to work, just like I thought it wouldn't, I figured out a way to delete the save data!

While playing the game I waited till I saw it was saving and just ejected the game card from the system.
On the 3rd attempt it successfully deleted the save data and I am now able to play the game from the start.

From my understanding, there are a few games on the 3DS (Resident Evil: Mercenaries) and maybe the DS that doesn't have this function which is really freaking stupid.

Anyway, this is not suggested as it could be harmful to "whatever", but it does work and just thought I would let others know too.

Good to hear you figured it out. Yeah, that was the huge problem with Mercenaries when it came out, as its lack of a way to delete save data pretty much killed the second-hand market for the game and pissed off tons of fans.

Alas, not only a DS/3DS problem. I've also run into this with DBZ Supersonic Warriors for GBA. :-\

Um, I'm surprised no one said this before?? What game are we talking about? I know it's something from Activision. Also RE Mercenaries.

What about a flash card device? Do they have ones that can manage save games or write directly to a blank card? Or is everything done via SD card these days? If SD, how does one back up the games to start with?

And Final Fantasy IV Advance. After my fifth attempt at trying to corrupt the save files, I just gave up. I can live with having to save over someone's old save file, it's just a "pet-peeve".

That's a little bit different, since you can start a new game. I think all the games we're discussing don't even give you multiple profiles.

Ya this was mainly about games that had no sort of "Start Over" function.

Fixed first post to show what game is was that I was talking about.
