Nintendo had to do something to not be completely out of the picture for the next generation of consoles. Seriously, the PS4 was going to cost only $50 more then a Wii U. At least now it's a hundred dollars less and comes with a game.

It's a child friendly 3ds, in that light I can sort of see how it makes sense. Budget model with no breakable hinge aimed at 5-7 year olds.

the good: they got rid of that stupidass 3D that no one gives a shit about/uses
the bad: it's about as big as a Virtual Boy, and we all know how well that went
