No it wasn't, but I wasn't about to rewrite everything just because you snuck in a post in between me starting a post and me ending it. Anyway, jumping to conclusions isn't fair, but come on. The only purpose for wanting disc labels is to put them on copied games, legally copied+owned or not. However I consider a situation where he is using it for his legal backup is absurd given the way he wrote his post. --- End quote --- |

Then while I wholly agree with you on the subject of pirating, seeing as how every game I was was legally obtained, my only reason for posting the previous message was to try and give some reasons besides pirating that this person may have asked. I just thought it wasn't fair to jump to conclusions, but since you can never be sure on the internet... --- End quote --- I believe the reason tiktektak made that comment is very simple "NOBODY MAKES BACKUP COPIES OF THEIR GAMES"! The "I don't want my kid/little brother to damage my 5 dollar game" dose not work.. Why would you make a copy for someone that will surely damage and waste time and money in printable discs and ink. I bet that 95% if not higher of people that print covers on their games is because those games are bootlegged If you want to collect a game and still play it you will do one of 2 things 1- be very careful when handling your game 2- buy a 2nd copy. I'm sure that most of the gamers that have made a backup have used the cheapest discs available knowing they don't care for what happens to it. And certainly not waste money on ink to print a cover for it.. Another thing.. I don't know why I uploaded a few disc scans, but it seems to me that having the option to do so in the first place goes against the hole "We don't support piracy in our community" thing. After thinking about it I realized I should not have uploaded those scans in the fist place. Is there a good reason why we have the disc scans available for download here? Is it so people that buy a game that has it's cover damaged can print it on a sticker and put it on? (only legitimate reason I could think of) CUMON!.. What gamers in its right mind would do that.. Not only can those stickers damage your system, but why would you buy a scratched up game in the 1st place and then care about what the art looks like! My 2 cents |

*Re-reads post* You're right, after looking at it from a the proper perspective, I see what you mean. Anyway, he DOES post a good question. Though they have crappy label makers, I've always wondered if there was a better way to make my CDs (Music) look nicer. --Vt, your two cents are a legitimate pair. o.O |

I meant to differentiate the CDs that coughs was talking about, and the mp3-filled ones I was making a reference to. |
