I don't know if he got spooked away. He had stated that the covers where 100% his work and I was just trying to make a point (in private). If as a result, he doesn't return. I'll re-craft Little Samson,
Kid Ikarus, Tom & Jerry, and World Wrestling in vector graphics. I'll also take a few requests for other NES covers (Even though I'm technically retired from making covers). Just a few. I'll wait two weeks from this post.

 I understood what you where trying to tell him, that the screenshots and the front photo were the ones that you took, but he understood that you were telling him that he use your cover and just retouch it., also understood what he was trying to tell with the 100%, in some point of the conversation in this thread he told that he wasn't retouching the covers he was remaking the logos, changing color, adjusting the photos to size as the original box etc. For him i think that he was making them 100% from 0 although he was using the screenshots in some of the covers from the ones that were already made, for example Stinger (your photos), Bill Elliott's NASCAR (don't remember who did that one but he use the screenshots from the existing one on TCP) etc.

Both of you have your good reasons, but the language was a problem. No body fault just a misunderstand

BTW. Can you make a tutorial on making vector graphics? Its something i would love to try.

Seriously though, the guy is a beast, in the space of a month he created 66 covers for the Nes system alone, that's basicly 10% of the Nes USA collection right there, truly hope this isn't the end of such an awesome project... A 100% consistent set would be the feakin' berries!

Unfortunately there was a huge language barrier,  he thought all guidance was criticism, and had a bit of a persecution complex about it.  Shame, as I really liked him (frustrating as hell, but I liked him), and a lot of his work was excellent.  I also think segamer should get back on the horse and crank some more out, but that's just my opinion.  At the end of the day, we all do this for enjoyment, and quitting it hurts the artist most. Who cares if some people don't like it?

Yeah it's very sad. Jadda jadda. He did some really ncie covers. Jadda jadda. It was impossible to talk to him. So it would have been impossible to explain to him if some of his covers would not have been accepted as he sometimes used low res artwork (you can vector logos and stuff but not art).

Can we move along now maybe?

Glad to see you're still creating covers.  Even if it's not around here.  Would be a real shame if you stopped doing something you obviously enjoy.
