| Gamestop selling Xenoblade Chronicles, possibly others |

I call gamestop today and ask about purchasing multiple copies of xenoblade and they told me people were buying 3 copies of xenoblade at a time(online) taking advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free but i guess as of yesterday they limited the practice to 1 per customer online. I ask if the got new copies and open them so sell as used and the gamestop employee told me thats illegal..lol. I was also told that they are going to have metroid trilogy 'used' in stock really soon but they are also jacking the price to $89.99.. :-\ Almost every stores in las vegas has a copy on xenoblade now.... :-[ |

At this point, I'd pay market used value for a new(ish) copy of Trilogy. My copy is loose disc and it makes me nuts :( |

On the one hand, I desperately want Xenoblade Chronicles and Prime Trilogy. I unfortunately missed out, and the used prices online are either really high or ridiculous. On the other hand, that is a dirty, underhanded move on Gamestop's part. Yeah, used copies go for a lot, but only because the supply is short. This is a dangerous path, and Gamestop has no problems taking more than their fair share. I want these games, but I don't want to support Gamestop. Fuck me. |

They had a copy of trilogy at the same store but no case otherwise i would have pick it up... On a kind of related note, pandora's tower is priced $20 new and $19 used at gamestop. |
