It depends on the platform. First I prefer vertical, which is custom for some platforms and retail for others. Then I like uniformed spines. With some consoles like NES that might just mean having the TCP custom logo on the spine. But with N64 it means having the logos in the correct spot and the green tinted background. |

gonna say i mostly like retail but some retail covers were just so bad , like the original megaman covers lol dont know why i ever tried the game at the time lol , so so im really like the customs that people have made here |

I voted retail but BOTH for sure. It is system dependent for me. example: 2600 - custom in one box type SMS - retail Genesis - retail, duplicates custom red NES - retail with developer logo at bottom of spine SNES - custom vertical N64 - custom vertical TurboGrafX - custom "dvd" art etc..
