Zelda 2, not that bad

I enjoy playing the games i grew up with so im not discovering alot of new ones. Zelda 2 was THE game i looked forward to the most after seeing the spread in the Official Nintendo Players Guide. Stupid chip shortage....

This game infuriated me to no end when I was a kid, and at some times, still does today. Its one of those games that gets you so angry over the slightest thing, you'll deliberately try again to prove you're better than a machine. "Zelda II" is nothing, if not one huge endurance test. :)

I liked the game a lot.
Planning on getting some of the hacks done as repros.
Just have to research which are good.
Any suggestions?

I got this for the 3DS thanks to the ambassadors program. The game is very very good, but -as with other virtual console releases- it has the original Japanese difficult level making the game very hard and frustrating. The NES version we got on this continent was "easier".
I've been abusing of the save state option for the 3DS with this game a lot.

I listen to others opinions but always try to form my own regardless , i liked zelda II but it wasnt a great game so gald for Link to the past they went back to the top down veiw and cant wait for the new Link to the past sequel
