i got my snes from www.consolepassion.co.uk - switchless modifaction, plays anything i throw at it, and it's not yellow. well worth £50 only i had to pay an additional £50 in shipping so i got one for a friend as well to bring that cost down by 50%. works like a charm and my only gripes would be that he bundles them with generic third party controllers and the widened slot (for ntsc carts) could've used flaps that covers the widened opening, but obviously that'd require more parts. but the price is right and supposedly it runs anything from any region.

That's one thing that would be nice with a console like the Retron5. Supposedly, it should play everything from all sides of the pond.

Get the Ascii pad to fix this.

That's why i used US console as the base

I've been thinking about doing this as well for games like Mega Man 7 and the Final Fight series. I've already got the Retron 5 pre-ordered so I'll have no problems playing the sfc games.  ;D

(Off track to current topic I know)
About the SFC or SNES preference to save money, Im not cool with RPGs which the language barrier I find im looking at my cpu screen more than the TV to find out every single item I just got, key info someone just said, where to go blah blah. So I usually tried to get the JPN release only games like ALL the Dragonball Z sfc games since that was my childhood dream to go super saiyan but others like GOGO ACKMAN that never hit the shores, pretty much action/adventures are the only ones.

BUT MEGAMAN!! UGH there so expensive to get the US version and who here DOESNT want to have every NES/SNES Megaman game right?!  So besides Rockman&Forte on SFC which never got to SNES I wanted them all US release (realizing I would need a couple $100 bills to do this) but then I saw this lot on ebay and instantly bought. He is the ONLY person I get any JPN stuff from very cool low prices. Rockman 7, X, X2, X3  FOR $20.99 plus 9 shipping.  I couldnt pass it up no matter what.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121188074222?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

So with the Rockman&Forte I have all the SFC megamans and now Im questioning if I even wanna bother getting the US versions because language barriers in megaman games is really irrelevent to you actually playing and beating the game. So overall I guess I might start going SFC on a couple more crazy ass priced SNES games.

Also Would the scans on the labels of the four rockman games help anyone out???
