i got my snes from www.consolepassion.co.uk - switchless modifaction, plays anything i throw at it, and it's not yellow. well worth £50 only i had to pay an additional £50 in shipping so i got one for a friend as well to bring that cost down by 50%. works like a charm and my only gripes would be that he bundles them with generic third party controllers and the widened slot (for ntsc carts) could've used flaps that covers the widened opening, but obviously that'd require more parts. but the price is right and supposedly it runs anything from any region. |

That's one thing that would be nice with a console like the Retron5. Supposedly, it should play everything from all sides of the pond. |

guy will do mods if you ship it to the uk, but i never had a snes to begin with. always wanted one of those glorious rounded PAL units and now i have one =) |

I've been thinking about doing this as well for games like Mega Man 7 and the Final Fight series. I've already got the Retron 5 pre-ordered so I'll have no problems playing the sfc games. ;D |
