Found these at a garage sale. $1 each.

Only one that isn't a double is Buffy the vampire slayer for ps2.  I've heard good things about it so for a buck I'll probably keep it.

Halo 2 was sealed.

I always wonder who would spend $60 on a game and not open it, then sell it for $1.

Got to hit up the local village yard sales today. Didn't do all to bad.

First up is this camera. Been looking for something nicer then the cheapo point and shoot/cell phone camera I've been using. Figured they would want $50+ easily for it but I asked. They said $20 and I was surprised but countered with $15 and got it. Overall it is not bad and all the pictures after were taken with it. Biggest issue though is I have to push up on the lens enclosure a bit to get the camera to take a photo. I figure I'll enjoy it while I can as it's only $15.

Next up were these pair of speakers, been looking for a sub and they also had a decent center channel as well. Marked $35 got both for $25.

Figure I'll get the boring stuff out of the way before the few games I found. Also picked up these two police scanners. Got the old Bearcat for $1 and the Portable for $5. Both work and I've been looking for a handheld unit for a while.

Finally the games I found. Got the GB games for the price marked and the PS1 games were $3 a piece. Couldn't pass up Pokemon at that price.

Overall happy with what I got today. Haven't been out a whole lot this year.

Some pickups of the past days:

Finally I got myself a top Loader! Now I only need to mod it for composite and maybe RGB (if I will afford it)! then I got the best NES you can have.

By the way if anyone wants one of the games he can drop me an offer. I plan to only keep the NES.

I would be interested in Metroid if it's PAL. My copy is in horrible shape, label torn and overall dirty. If you have a price in mind gimme a PM.

There's an HDMI output mod that's in the works (although there hasn't been much news on it since it was first made public)... So I would suggest not spending the $ on the RGB mod.

I suppose HDMI won't really be worth it considering the NES was meant to be played on a CRT. ;) Especially as the best HDMI converter can't crank up the
true resolution of the original hardware it will still look odd. For me true RGB on a really good CRT is the pinnacle of NES playment! ;D

I appreciate that someone has actually tried it on their own.  I can't express enough how helpful Bestine is with what I do EVERY day.  Happy to hear that you're getting good use of it as well :)

Based on what little images they've put out of the thing, the HDMI mod has pixel perfect output.

Actually, now that I look into it there are a couple projects people have in the works that'll make the RGB mod more reasonable, since they bypass the need to harvest a PPU from an arcade machine. One, like the HDMI mod, is grabbing the signals from the PPU and dealing with them itself and the other is a universal PPU for all NES hardware (including the arcades). And since they aren't using the arcade PPU, you don't end up with a wonky color palette.

That custom made PPU sounds really promising. Now the question remains if the price will be really reasonable. :)

Working model 1 Sega Genesis with 21 games.

30 bucks.

Pretty excited about both of the Toe Jam and Earl games that are complete and the copy of Castlevania Bloodlines.

Was a local craigslist post.
