I found a bag of carts at a church-sponsored yard sale, in one of those 1-gallon Ziploc bags
Written on the side was 'Nintendos 25$'. The bag was really dirty, both inside and out.
I pointed this out, and was offered 10$ off the price, which I very gladly paid.
What was in it?

The pokemon games alone make it worth it!

I tested and cleaned all of them - like I said, the bag was FILTHY. Foreman For Real doesn't work at all, but one dud out of 29 is a pretty good ratio!

Excellent, 28 games. The one that didn't work you can use it as a doner cartridge for other game maybe

Just open it and clean it thoroughly! I never heard of a broken GB game exc ept if it was physically damaged. These carts are built for eternity!
2 + 3 = 23

It rattles, so there probably IS something busted inside. If it was Link's Awakening or something I'd still be trying desperately to make it work...

I showed it to a friend, who says, just like you did, that Game Boy games work forever. He concluded that it was a bootleg - the label has Japanese letters on it, and the label is missing those silver bars on the side. I don't know if there's any truth to that - seems an unlikely game to bootleg in the first place!

On second thought could as well be a bootleg. That label looks strange.

I have 2 broken gameboy carts. they hang right after the GameBoy screen. I think it's from water damage on both.

Well I don't normally like to buy Sega CD games disc only but I've been wanting these two for a while and jumped at the opportunity. Managed to get Popful Mail for $45 and Lunar for $15. I am going to keep my eyes open for some cases though as I still hate the lack of original cases on these two.

Got a CRT TV off Cragslist!

Sony KV27FS120 with original remote, in amazing condition (no nicks in the silver paint whatsoever), has some sticker junk on the top right corner from the previous owner trying to sell it at a yard sale (should clean up nicely).

Other than that, has some MINOR geometry issues when I ran the 240P Test Suite Disc off my Dreamcast, but it's not noticeable at all during gameplay.

Perfect TV for my needs:

- Decent size CRT (27")
- Flat Display
- Silver Sony Trinitron
- Light Gun Compatible (Duck Hunt works great)
- S-Video, Composite, and Component Connections

I found a NES Toploader from one of my retrogame dealers, it's NTSC format, so if there's anyone looking for one here, shoot me a PM (they ship internationally)

I have no interest in it since I don't even have any NES games, and well, since I don't want to go messing around with voltage converters (I live in Europe, so yeah)

Same here - decent deal, but nothing great.  SNES's in my area sell for around $45, and I see very nice ones as well as yellowed and damaged ones for that price.  Although, as a collector, I like items in original boxes.

I like to have them in original box too, that's why i like that one, apart that is in very mint condition, the ones that i have seen around 40 - 50 dollars are always yellow or not in original box and without games. I buy my Nes and N64 in original box and but bought a wii without it and my playstation bought it in 1998 and i got rid of that box in that year (if someone have one of does two PM me :p).

In my country fly markets don't sell video games and pound shop either, so i have to buy from internet or local store  :P and prices are high :'(

Thanks for your help  ;D, very aprecciated

Well done, sir. I am currently looking for a 36" one for myself to replace the 27" Fisher TV I've had since 1989. There are plenty of free ones on Craigslist in my area, but I have my eye out for a specific one.
