Pickups this weekend

NES games from the local shop

Vice: Project Doom - $10
Kabuki: Quantum Fighter $5

Spent some of an eb games gift card to get Raiden Fighters Aces - $8

Thing had 5 stickers to remove.  Can anyone on here who works for eb / gamestop explain why they need to sticker the crap out of used stuff?

Well had a fun day at the Flea Market and the surrounding area. Nothing gaming related but I did get a few things. Picked up a set of Boston Acoustics HD8 Speakers for $50. Funny story really. I picked up the Philips receiver pictured below along with the HD8's for $100. Been looking for a nice vintage setup and these helped me out greatly. I also got the Yamaha Tuner earlier for $5 and am using it because of that. But then took a trip to the thrift stores I usually stopped at and found a ton of older Boston speakers there as well. Got a pair of the HD7's for $10 and decided I am going to convert my surround setup to all Boston speakers when 5.1. Pretty happy with the pickups. No pictures of the speakers but they are on the older side like 1990 and the HD7's will need a refoaming before I can use them. I did hook up the HD8's to the front R/L on my surround and they produce a beautiful sound.

Also got these two movies at Best Buy.

I'm 98% certain that's the same Yamaha tuner we had in my living room as a kid! Super nostalgic seeing it again 8)

I'm not much of an online gamer (read: not at all), but I may give it a go just so we can do some blasting together :)

I actually had sonic 3D blast before I had a Sega Saturn. I ended up selling it lol. Kinda wish I had I't back now that I have one.

To be honest, I'm not a big online gamer myself. Before the last of us, the only other game that actually got me into the multiplayer was the new Tomb Raider (which is nor deserted unfortunately). But I cant get enough of the multiplayer on The Last of Us. Keeps all the same gameplay mechanics from campaign, and add them to team based multiplayer and it works really well. I have a buddy that picked up a PS3 just to play the multiplayer with me and we tear it up as often as we can!

Well even if you never get around to playing the multiplayer, its a really good game overall I had to at least offer! ;)

Thanks, Wiggy. My wife is going to love this. The tricky part will be keeping it hidden until her birthday in November, haha.

I played a little Forza 3 & 4 with a buddy at one point, and it was kinda fun. Still haven't opened last of us. When I do, I'll let you know ;)

Thank you!

So you're one of the ninjas that managed to grab one?  That last batch of five sold in 2 minutes, 45 seconds. My partner and I were betting on them selling by 9:45pm and 10:00pm respectively (1 hour and 1.25 hours after being listed).  I think we both lost :P

Hope she enjoys it!

2 minutes 45 seconds? Holy shit; I was probably the LAST to get one, considering the fact that my FB client is generally around 45-60 seconds late in pushing notifications. XD Cheers!

Finally some pickups for me :D Technically I got most of this a couple of weeks ago, but I was in the States and didn't have my camera :/

Got these new with some Amazon textbook credit a long while ago. So basically free :D

While I was in the states visiting my boyfriend, I got a chance to visit play n trade and I found a few games I've been wanting for a long long time :> (The DS games are Lux-Pain and Magical Starsign). Since I traded in a few things, I basically got Ar Tonelico for free and I think the rest was about $30... So not a great deal I guess but I can't find non-PC games here ._.

Got Soul Hackers for the normal price and the MegaTen IV stuff for free since my boyfriend didn't care about all the extra stuff :D (and once he's finished I'll be able to play it as well :>)

These were 10 cents a piece :> Even if 2 of them didn't work it would still be a good find for me~

Finally, this came in the mail today :D

Did pretty good at a local flea market over the weekend.

Metal Saga CIB $3 (for a friend, I already got one)
Kuon missing manual $9
Pokemon Collosseum Bonus Disc CIB $4
Blades of Steel missing manual $5
Blaster Master w/ manual $6
RC Pro-Am $4
N64 Grape controller with a broke stick $1
Quest 64 $5
Pearl Blue AGS-101 $15

I was really excited to find the AGS-101 for such a great price.  It's not in perfect shape but it works great.  I might re-shell it but I haven't decided yet.
