I picked this up today for $185:

I've had incredibly good luck getting new gen Nintendo stuff this year, all that 3DS stuff had working Club Nintendo codes too.  In June I got a ZombiU Deluxe Wii U set brand new for $200; then on that same month I found New Super Mario Bros U CiB at Goodwill for $25 and that also had a working Club Nintendo code. 

Unfortunately, this hasn't extended to my retro game hunts that much but I'll take what I can get.

Visited the thrift store today after a long break with the hunt.  
I did a triple take on this one.  I couldn't believe what I was looking at sitting next to the toasters and crockpots.
I still Don't own a ROB, but at least this thing has a purpose in life. $4.99



The eyes light up red, has 2 speeds and oscillates.  It is quiet and works well

Pick ups in the last month

NES, SNES, Atari Jaguar pickups. Wolfenstein3d and Demon's Crest were the two most satisfying pick ups. Wolfenstein came in a mint condition box that I put away in the cupboard.





A few weeks ago I was overcome with a neurotic compulsion to add manuals to a few games.

I honestly want to ask, What is so great about Demon's Crest? I've watched about 15 minutes of a straight play-through and it reminds me of Act Raiser II.
And what's sad is AR II was pretty boring. AR 1 was way better.

Got a SMS system the other day at the pawn shop. 1 controller, 1 light gun, no games. had no idea it had built in games.
(apparently mine is a later variation with hang on and safari hunt)

I got it 2 weeks ago and just got around to hooking it up.
I'm actually a bit annoyed because I ordered a light gun game for it before I saw it had one built in. lol.
