Yeah, I know, I saw your profile! I live just across the river and I wanted to know where it was so I could check it out ! :P

He's at the Carp flea market. Sundays 9-5.

Take 417 get off at carp road exit (one after palladium drive - where the Sens rink is) go left and the market will be on your right.

Dude has pretty much everything but he's a bit on the expensive side for most things.

Got these for my birthday ... well one is for me and the other will be gifted to my Best Man when I tie the knot in November.

I had no clue these were available in Canada for pre-order and by the time I found out they were sold out everywhere.

My fiancé was able to go to 2 separate EB Games and convince them to sell her them as the people who pre-ordered had not replied to multiple phone calls to pick them up and apparently they only have to be held for 48 hrs.

I know if I had pre-ordered something like this I'd be picking it up on release day.

I finally found one. I nabbed a Gameboy player for Gamecube for $15 with the disc.

I was at the pawn shop and a guy came in with a small box of gamecube stuff, the guy running the shop said they are not buying video games for a while, they are heavily stocked (Seriously, they are reducing prices on PS3s, you can get a Super Slim from them for $100 if you play your cards right). I met the guy with the gamecube in the parking lot and asked if I could check out what he had. Noticed he had a gameboy player, asked if it had the disc, he said yes, and I offered $10, he said $25, and we met at $15, and he threw in a copy of Advance Wars 2.

Long story short, I am not allowed at the pawn shop again because of that, totally worth it.

So they turned a guy's merchandise down and are blacklisting you for offering to buy something?

Yep, thats about it.Claiming it is against the law in this state to do private translations on commercial property without the consent of the owner. I don't buy it.

Don't think its against the law but I beleive they can tell you to get off their property if your using it for something other than its intended purpose. But anywho they lost a customer I guess

I was told by a GS employee to go outside if I was going to buy from someone that was in the store....I was looked at like i was an ass hole...but I got the game I wanted for cheaper than their price, and the kids eyes lit up when I offered double what GS did.

Pick up a copy of snes sunset riders for $20 working Lol

Anybody has a label for it.. :-\

I've got a (spare) copy of Gradius III that's broken very similarly to that... Although, a little worse on the back. *digs through Flickr feed for old picture*

According to the former owners (brothers), one of them was playing the game and the other one was running through the house chasing the dog and tripped over it. It's basically flush with the cartridge port when you put it in the SNES (model 1, anyway). I'd expect something similar happened to your Sunset Riders.

Anyway: pickups!

Picked up Shin Megami Tensei IV in its Limited Edition box set that includes a little strategy/art book and soundtrack, as well as Fire Emblem Awakening. ... Not playing either of them right away, but I wanted to make use of Nintendo's $30 eShop credit promotion... With which I've grabbed a Virtual Console copy of Shantae (because I don't expect to ever get a cartridge of it), and have a couple more games already in mind for the rest of it (Megaman V Gameboy, Summer Carnival '92 Recca, etc)

I also grabbed the first volume of World War Blue, a manga that reinterprets the 90's console wars as... actual wars in a medieval/samurai fantasy setting. Game companies are countries on the continent of Consume, with the main two at war being the Kingdom of Segua and the Ninteldo Empire (other countries are either allied with one of these countries or neutral). The warriors, meanwhile, are personifications of different games/game characters. On the cover there are Gear (Sonic), Opal (Opa-Opa from Fantasy Zone), Tejirov (Tetris), and Emperor Marcus (Mario). Most interestingly, the thing's written with Seg(u)a as the protagonists even though, let's be honest, they lost in the end.

Bought this on Ebay.  It was never released in the U.S., and I'm a big fan of the series.  Plus, the PAL cartridge is the same size as a Genesis cartridge, so it fits right in my Genesis, whereas with a Japanese version I'd have to use a Game Genie.  Also, the artwork on the PAL version is similar to many U.S. games so it fits right in on my shelf.

I like how the not-released-in-America game has a big US flag in the title art. ;D
