I'm about 50/50 between player and collector. I have around 150 Sega Genesis games, and I play a lot of them. I also have 75 or so Atari 2600 games that I don't play because it's a pain to hook up a system to play them on. I collect Colecovision too, and I hook up my CV every once in a while. Sega Genesis has always been my favorite system of all time, and I'm glad that Sega chose durable plastic clamshell cases for most of their games. A nearly fully cased collection in original cases looks so good on my shelves. Even when I buy a loose cart, I just buy a sports game for $1 and use the case for it. |

I have no interest in the cellphone games outside of emulation, which I never even bothered to try, nor do I have any interest in the PC ports (outside of X1 and X5, which I already have). Outside of Mega Man 64, collections, and remakes (PSP), I have no interest in getting multiple copies for different systems of any games outside of Mega Man X (so I only have one copy of the Anniversary Collection, one copy of Command Mission, etc). |

If my current finances weren't an issue, I would have picked up the rest of the Starforce series as well as the Zero collection and Mega Man 64, as all those are relatively easy to find, and cheap. |

at this point im more of a collector , just havent had time to play everthing ive got , good news is if there is another video game crash ive got a good sized backlog lol |
