PayPal for Noobs?

So I'm finally getting a PayPal account, I'm currently reading through the User Agreements and stuff, But I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers to normal use or some things I should watch out for?

You should link it to your bank account and get it verified. You'll also want to verify your address the same way. I hope your're set up for online banking, because it will make verifying your account a lot easier.

Just remember that when someone sends you money that PayPal takes a chunk of it. So if selling on eBay both eBay and PayPal takes a cut. But transfering funds into your bank account is free, it just takes a couple of business days.

I turned 18 about 2 months ago, I've been meaning to set one up, but I needed to get my finances sorted out first.

After you get all what he said above, I would make sure you have the premier account. It has a lot better selling options. The regular account is mainly just for buyers.

I'm not going to be doing any selling any time soon, so I'll stay at the normal account for now.

The whole premier, needing to verify your identity by the most insanely thorough methods on Earth, etc. stuff with paypal is always so weird to read.  I signed up like the 1st week that it went live and I barely had to do anything to get things going.  But, I guess it's probably a lot more secure now than it was.  Still, I've never had to provide any of the info that they now require since the changes were made...

Anyway, congrats and use it wisely.
