kingjohn3:
Hey do any of you know if there are any problems with reproduction carts? Do they work on any SNES or do I need an adapter? Just wondering if theyre worth the money. Thanks
scarmullet:
They work on any SNES usually, you may have issues with PAL systems if you are buying US carts. They are made from old sports carts usually and the system sees the cart all the same. For the reason stated, I think its a more worth while investment to get a flash cart, especially if you have a large wishlist of SNES repros you want.

They would played on US system. Same rule of thumb foe NES? The only one I really want is the original Goonies. So there haven't been any wide range of problems that you're aware of?

Eproms do tend to loose their data after a while, possibly after 10 years (ROM chips corrupt as well, but they take longer). It depends on the quality of the EPROMs, but they will give out after a while.

Hmm yes, US cart won't fit in PAL console. ;)
