Placeholders unfortunately.

But still, maybe you're not what your name says. ;)

Polite way of saying artwork used is not good enough and attention for detail is lacking:
- Barcodes are wrong as are SNS codes.
- Screenshot locations are wrong mostly.
- Borders around screenshots are missing.

But the covers can be used as place holders.

On positive note I do like the back texts, those are excelent.

Yeah, I know finding good scans is hard.
Thus the remark "Placeholders unfortunately" was partially due to that I though someone had finally managed to get good scans for the Flintstones. ;)

But yes pay attention to the small details and we can then more easily fix the covers if we happen to have raw material stached somewhere.

Oh and welcome to the site.

Taking the Flintstones as an example - aside from the poor quality front, and risking Shenske's wrath by not adhering to his template guidelines.

The Taito logo on the front hasn't had a transparancy applied to the background - therefore you can see the black box around it. (and it's lo-res)

Visible line between spine and back at towards the bottom

The Legals on the back cut off at the bottom (...Mexico and)

Round Nintendo seal on front, and Oval on back.  Need to make up your mind if its a PAL cover or not.

Barcode is cut off at the bottom

SNS Code is for 'Cool Spot'

Flintstones logo on the spine poorly cut out - lots of artifacts

Flintstones logo on the back doesn't have the sub-title

And the worst offence of all - ESRB ratings on a PAL game.

Now - lots of people won't mind these things, and if you are happy with the cover as it is, that's great - but if you are wanting to have your covers hosted on the site, any one of these minor offences would have the cover rejected.

Welcome to the site - it might be worth fixing up what you can - and then putting out a request for scan of the cover - or if you can find an ebay seller with a boxed copy (2 at the moment- http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Video-Games-Consoles-/1249/i.html?_sac=1&_from=R40&_nkw=madrock) and asking if they could provide a hi-res scan

Or do like sheep2001 did here.

He provided link to ebay and made me click worldwide option which brought the boxed copy count to 5, and then made me buy the cheapest (34 Euros including postage, not too bad).

Quite good actually.

Assuming that Barcode and SNS codes are correct, only thing really wrong with it are the screenshots and the spine and front PAL logos (the ones that have red, blue, green &yellow dots) the backgrounds pof them is too ligh (gray instead of black).

Still won't be quite site standarts but really good ones.

After fixing those things I'd move this one from placeholders to near perfects.

Updated a few covers.
The Humans, Rode Runner, Spirou, Super Soccer, Young Merlin, Lemmings 2, Asterix & Obelix and World League Basketball.
Took me quite some time but i think its an improvement :)

I didnt find Barcodes for all games so i added recycling info or for german games the german rating for it.

Edit:
Updated Smurfs and Micromachines as well.
