So, on vacation in Biloxi and had some free time to do some game hunting. I went to a bunch of thrift stores and pawn shops until I went into this one.

So, I have never scored at a pawn shop and hell has been quite a while period. Walk in, look over the place and finally find the games. Little bit of everything, most completely overpriced until I look at the gameboy games. Spuds Adventure... yep. So I keep it cool and notice it didnt have a price tag as did a few of the other games. I ask the worker what the prices were on a few of the unpriced ones which he grabs and asks the owner (possibly his dad) which tells me 10$ a piece. I mill it over a minute and ask if he would go any lower on them, trying to sound legit, and he wouldnt budge. So I tell the worker I will buy spuds and we walk to register. Worker has my money in his hand, punches in register and just before he hits to complete sale the owner walks up, grabs game and say "this isnt for sale" and then tells me "if you want just one of the other games I will do it for 5$". I ask a reason, he just fusses at his worker why he didnt look up price and then tells me to have a good day.
Now, of course this made me upset, I never ever get to catch anyone slipping much less same games like that anywhere around me. Not so much that I didnt get the item but more so how it was handled. Would have been completely different had he not thrown a price at me, had the worker not had my money in hand and in process of ringing me up. Had he looked it up first and told me no, completely different.
Then it gets better, an hour later I look on ebay (as the store seemed to ebay everything, tons of packages) and sure enough, theres the spuds adventure. 149$ with make offer. Needless to say, I offered him 10$ lol
