Is it just me or do SNES vertical look alot more crisp than retail?

Being a trditionalist I like the retail but vertical is growing because of how nice they look. larryinc64 has a spine for SNES that I think is really nice. Sorta wish that it was the new standard actually. Have you seen it? I had an idea that I've ran by him before of taking his SNES spine as is but simply adding a theme color in place of the black in some instances (Zelda gold, Yoshi green, etc) What do you think? I'm rather ignorant when it come to making covers otherwise I would make up a sample.

Everyone has their taste but: THE VERTICAL WE HAVE SHALL STAY AS THE STANDART!!! :P
Alternates are ofcourse welcome.

I'm in the process of switching all my SNES covers to verticals.
They just look so much cleaner. I'll have less covers available as there are more Horizontal ones on the site, however, most of my favourite games have verticals available.
I'll switching my N64 titles as well.

I like the vertical retail look over the original horizontal. I was tempted to go with Wiggy's covers before, but with the retail look I feel like I'm holding the game at the store. Sometimes I like to read the box and look at the screenshots.

I wish I had more time to convert more of these. I've done quite a few so it usually takes about 35min to make each one but trying to swing even that has been difficult lately :-\
Its a process and the vertical snes has a great following so I wouldn't be surprised if it caught up to the horizontal count in 6-12 months.
