Wii U Question - Error Code

Well, Nintendo may be fully aware of the hardware problem and is keeping it under wraps as to not incite any loss in confidence in their product. Therefore, instead of recalling all the Wii U's, they fix them as they malfunction under the warranty. I mean, when I put in the error code that the Wii U gave me into the Nintendo website error code checker, it said the code didn't exist. How is that possible?
Course, it could just be that my particular Wii U had some rare factory error. I guess we shall see...

I'd fucking hope not, considering I bought it as a Christmas present for someone. That would royally piss me off.
EDIT: These guys are suggesting that its a hardware fail. It makes sense, after reading a few forums, its does sound like a memory problem.

there where several problems with them freezing that got better over the past few updates and, now seem to be Pretty much gone!
BTW ive looked into the Error Code it seems to happen when People have downloaded a certain Item!
