Since I'm using up a lot of ink printing, and I'm a minor without a job and don't want to pester the folks, and ideas on how I can effectively and cheaply print out my covers? $35 color ink is just too darn expensive.

...The topic was supposed to be "The Best way to Print?" But I'm tired and didn't notice the huge typo.

Don't worry, I fixed it.

Now then, there are many different ways to print.
You could print them in black in white, which isn't very visually appealing but you won't use color ink. Haven't heard of too many people doing this.
You could go to Office Max, Staples, or some other copy/print store and have them do it for you. Staples did most of mine without hassle and pretty damn cheap. (although it was still about 50 cents a page...)
A third option is to PM the site's admin, Snowcone. This option depends on whether he is willing to do it now or not. When I did it, it was more expensive, but he cut them for me and chances are used higher quality printing options. Chances are not the best option for a minor without a job.

You might want to look into other ways to source your ink.
I buy mine at www.ink4ever.com. The $13 epson cartridges are like 5 bucks (generic of course).
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

Thanks a lot for the suggestions! I'm thinking if I can hitch a ride to Staples over the weekend I'll just ask them to print me my covers. They'll take Data CDs and Flashdrives, right?

Yeah, they should. I had mine on a flash drive. However, they might not do it do cover their legal asses.

o.O Legal asses? They would print on legal paper if I requested though, right? The past 7 covers I made are all on 8.5x11" and haven't turned out too well.

...On a random note, any affordable ways to expand my video game collection? I've seen some of the users on here's impressive and extensive collection, and I'm compelled to attempt to replicate it. I really want a nice collection of cartridge game ans CD games.

i myself have a collection of well over 800 games, and i built it up mostly through ebay, for the older systems at least. if your patient enough, you can find great auctions.  numerous times i found auctions of over 50 games for less than 30 bucks.  i also use it to get newer games too, but you have to have a lot of patience for that.  also, you can occasionally luck out at yard sales, but not so much any more.

By covering their legal asses I mean that technically printing these covers could be illegal. My statement had nothing to do with legal paper. They will print on it, but it costs extra.

Anyway, thanks for the help everyone. I'm going to be printing off maybe another cover or two, Also, thanks for the ink site.
...One more thing. If I intended to find a good lot sale on eBay, what should I type into the search box? I know I'm being a hassle, but right now I can't concentrate and am struggling to concentrate.  :-\

just type in "lot of video games", or you can enter what system you want to search for, to narrow it down more, like "lot of nintendo games".  if you're really bored, you could always just type in "video games" thats always fun. theres so much crap on there, that the first 8 pages or so will all be ending in less than a minute... and theres like 7000 pages or something. insane.
