I just got the boxed game in today, opened it, flattened the box and here's the scans.

front:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/0xfvmab1ayxlovs/lotr.jpeg
and the back:

My scanner gives me these parameters to control, how should I adjust them for the best quality possible?

I tried the back @ 600 Dpi
and choose the fine art descreening option.

How's this look?

Well I used a higher setting (fine art is higher than magazine(, so here's a rescan of the front, in 600Dpi, on magazine descreening.

is that better.

Yep I know fine art was higher setting thus I thought it was softening the image too much.
I think I was right as I think this scan looks sharper.

After closer scrutany (comparingthe back scans) the fine art was sharper, go with that.
But if you have scanned freaking manu covers already with the magazine style, no need to rescan.
But from now on go with the fine art option.

Sorry for the trouble. :D

OY!
I'll have to flatten the out and rescan, I'll do it tomorrow in the fine art setting.
Any other suggestions that might help? I have no tools to clean up any creases, etc.

My scan editing skills are non-exsisting, so can't help there, but as the scans are excelent the artists here can clean them up if they want.

Thank you for the scans.
