Ryan Davis creater and founder of Giant Bomb Dies

Ryan Davis the founder of Giant Bomb died on July-3. It was announced today.  it really sucks.  I have been listening to the giant Bombcast pod cast for years now.  It will ne be the same as he created it and was the host.  The man was a great video game journalist.  What sucks the most is that he just got married on 6-29 I believe and passed away not even a weeks later.  I remember his last podcast he was so excited about his wedding.  Poor guy i feel bad for his family and friends and the whole Giant Bomb crew.

Can't say I'm familiar with him specifically, but I do enjoy the Giant Bomb site. RIP

Can't say I'm familiar with either. I'll have to check it out for sure. Regardless, that's terrible to hear. Especially since he just got married.

I only knew him by the journalists that I follow on Twitter retweeting some of his stuff. Odd to die so young.

I was a big fan of the Bombcast, Giant Bomb as a website, and Ryan Davis as a person. He was a very sweet good-natured person. Always jovial and inviting to others. He will be missed terribly.

Also for those of you not familiar with the bomb cast.  go listen to a bunch.  they are long but so god damn good.
