I still have a 500+ packed away in the loft. I get it out a couple of times a year and have Alien Breed/Wizz Kid/Assassin/Project X etc sessions. Trouble is its just so bulky i dont have the room to keep it out.

My 500 is in the loft too.  Alien Breed was amazing - how about SWIV, Hybris, Lotus Challenge, and of course Sensi Soccer?

I decided to put the C64 and it's peripherals(which need a huge amount of space) in the bedroom to make room for my A1200 in the main gaming room....

Besides I was wondering why is the A1200 smaller and more compact than the A500???

One of the games I loved most on my Amiga back in the days was Loom and Monkey Island...... Those to I played for ages.... A yes and Battle Isle....

Indeed i do. :) I spent nearly a whole Christmas holiday with the '15 Disc' version of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Changing discs for two lines of text dialogue...those where the days. Fantastic game it was too.

Fightin' Spirit (UK/EU)

I believe this was regarded as the best fighter for CD32/Amiga in its day, mind you there's not to many for it to beat ;). Kind of a Fatal Fury clone with a bit of Street Fighter in the mix, its actually a very acomplished game for the hardware its running on. Shows what could be done on the Amiga. The front is as the original packaging but i had to alter the text as it dissapeared into the background a little AND i couldnt fix it up. The back is custom, only the very spartan bit of text from the jewel case remained.

  • ...and that's the bottom line
Wow, it's amazing how they rip off Street Fighter, Art Of Fighting AND World Heroes at the same time :D

From what I saw in youtube videos the game looks nice and enjoyable. It has pretty nice backgrounds, too. Not bad.

Still I think the alpha and omega of fighters on Amiga is Ultimate Body Blows.

Ah the good old days, when programmers played fast and loose with copyright issues. ;) I still have Great Giana Sisters on C64 cassette tucked away in the loft, i got it on release day and it was pulled from the shelves a few days later (for being almost identicle to Super Mario Bros for anyone who did'nt know). Might be worth something if it will still load. My C64 is currently dead but i hope to fix it one day.

Super Stardust (UK/EU)

A great update of asteroids, i was blown away by the tunnel sequences on the A500 at the time. :D In the bottom left corner of the front is the name of the original cover artist. He/She was one of the few who put a name to a cover and as he/she did a nice job of it, i re-signed it.

Fire & Ice (E.U)

Pretty close to the original jewel case on both front and rear(except i added the magazine logo's to spice it up a bit) The back reads like a who's who of 90's euro gamermags. "Its the finest platform game ever!" states the blurb at the top. I would'nt go that far, even back in '94 but it will be fondly remembered by Amiga types and is a great platformer anyway. :D
