OUYA setup problems

Anybody on here get their OUYA working? I found one used already for only $60 and every time it finishes downloading the update I get this error that won't let me select anything because the controller won't turn back on. It says Signature Verification Failed. Any ideas on what could be causing this/how to fix?

More out of curiosity then helpfulness, but did you buy a retail one or is it a Backer Edition?

Since I bought it used, I assume it's not retail since it just came out last week but maybe I'm wrong. Is there a way to tell the difference?

I beleive that the Backer Edition has some names etched into the housing. Aparently the names of the highest kickstarter backers.

Nope, nothing other than OUYA etched into the system and controller. I've searched for hours on the net and seems like nobody else is having the same problem.

There's also the brown color variant that was backer only (which is the one I got). But I believe that was just an option.

 I haven't had any problems like that so far with mine. I have just had controller problems, like the controller not responding at certain times. I got a backer edition ouya that has the names etched in the side. Still have had a good amount of fun so far with mine.
