Sunset Riders on SNES, nice.

It came with all those games and the SNES mini above it for $80. It wasn't cheap for sure, but I think I got a good deal.

Yeah, I super excited about that too since I don't have it in my collection. I also didn't have Super Punch Out!! or Tecmo Super Bowl and both are on my list. Now I've got a spare of Donkey Kong Country, and oddly enough, my only copy of Super Mario World is a Player's Choice. So that was a nice little bonus too. I figure I should be able to even get back a little of that selling the SNES since I have no need for two minis.

Plus... NO collection is complete without SHAQ FU!

Game released today and I went into gamestop hoping they had a copy and also that they still had some pre order posters left.  But before I went in I had called and the employee says there was nothing in the computer for this game.  kinda weird but I still went in to look around.  I saw nothing in the store and that same girl was there so I didn't bother asking in person.  I don't know if they only had enough for preorders or if they didn't recieve the shipment yet but regardless, I went next door to best buy and bought 1 of the 2 copies that were on the shelves.  Not gonna lie though, kinda wish I got the poster also lol but que sera, sera.

Lol, today actually.  Couldn't pass it up for the price and the amount of games in it.  And if the Metal Gear Solid HD collection is any indication...this game might be hard to come by later on

Picked up something a little bit different over the weekend while I was visiting some friends out of town... Bloomington, IN has this really cool underground / local music scene and a lot of the local bands release their work on cassettes.  Yes, thats right, cassettes.  Well, one local label released some NES soundtracks on cassettes. From there site "Transferred directly from the NSF files found inside all NES cartridges for the utmost accuracy in reproduction, then duplicated onto analog for nostalgic recreation of childhood environment."  I missed the first batch that came out a couple years ago but they just released a second batch and I was able to pick up the 2 I was looking for.



Got the LOZ for myself and the Castlevania for a friend.

I wish I had known about the posters before I ordered it on Newegg. I hope Gamestop puts the posters up on their rewards site like they have done with some past preorder bonuses. I also hope my copy doesn't get damaged in the mail since Newegg will probably put it only in a padded mailer.

I thought about picking up the MGS Legacy Collection, but I already have all the games except Peace Walker, which I can pick up cheaper in the HD Collection at this point, and the VR Missions which is just a download voucher.


I did pick up Otomedius Excellent at work today for $3 (used), which lead to this humorous conversation with my coworker who was ringing me out:

Me: Don't judge me.
Him: Oh, I'm judging you.
Me: It's a spin-off of the classic Gradius spaceship shooter series... They just turned all the spaceships into anime girls.
