Knowing that this is the internet, there has some some form of "This is a cover" check, so no Porn or spam gets through, but maybe have a pending area.

Only members can post and I've never seen any spam in the few months I've been here. If covers can only be contributed by members I don't foresee this being an issue. If it did happen, Arseen would bust out the hammer in no time.

It would be great to have a section besides the forums for all of the custom and otherwise unapproved covers, especially if they were organized by system, title, and author.

True, I guess there is still a threat of a user going rouge, but no bigger than one going postin' the stuff on the forums.

I think a pending area is a good idea.

Haven't had a chance to touch it since this weekend. There's a lot of decisions still to be made in regards to the layout.

I think we should shift focus back to site design, and worry about this when the transfer takes place.
All forum posts will be transfered over to the new site layout, right?

I tried to get us back on topic a page ago, no one ever listens to me.   :P
Also my question was never answered, I'm guessing yes though.

I was Thinking that all the Raw scans must have the name of the game first and then maybe, just maybe (not necessarily) the name of the person that upload it, right now it's being order by the name of the person that upload it first and then the name of the game, that way it's hard to find scans because you search for example Super Mario bros. and you find the first one by the name "Arroz con mango-super mario bros" then 100 scans down you find another "Italy1934-Super mario bros" the other 52 scans down "Italia2006-Super mario bros."

all scans with the same name must be together order by the name of the game first

I agree that uploaders name is last, but definitely included so we can ask form re-scanning if needed.

Probably best order is: First the console then region then game name and last uploader.
Region before gama name as usually people look for certain region art.

I would have game name before region, as it would then group that games scans together.  Otherwise you still end up with the same game separated by multiple other games.  Also things like inserts may have no region associated.

If that's the better way, excellent. The idea is to have them all organize and easy to find  ;D

What about using the game system logos instead of plain text links on the left side?

That's a change I can make today and also rename all the existing covers in the uploads directory.
