Just use a pc, pad and an emulator, you could be playing on a tv today with hardware you probably already own it just wouldn't be the original hardware the games were written for.

Is there a way to play Sega Game Gear games on my TV ???

this is where i got my board from;

http://members.iinet.net.au/~stinkyfist/reviletim/ggtv/ggtv.htm

really easy to install, doesnt take up a lot of room inside the GG, so if you dont wont to do a consolization you dont have to

just for fun, heres the link to my thread where the GG consolization starts;

how? I was thinking about this yesterday. I have, somewhere, a connector to play Playstation controllers on the PC, but never used the connector...and how do you hook a computer to a TV?

depends on the TV, most HD TV's have an VGA input, which makes it easy as then you only need the VGA cable you would normally hook your pc to your Computer monitor with, but if you have an older TV you would need to get something like an VGA to RCA cable RCA being the basic red yellow and white cable, or VGA to component which component is the red, blue, and green Cables

If you have modern TV and reasonably new computer simply use HDMI like I do.

And I play with SNES Ascii pad with the SNES to USB conveter.

i don't have a HDMI port on my computer. I do have that on my TV (it's a 37" VIZIO flat screen L?D...I still don't understand the difference in LCD and LED, and wish I knew which was better, since I plan on getting a 60+ inch screen for Christmas)

In short, LED is brighter and crisper than LCD. LED > LCD

Depends on what video/audio output your computer has. If it has HDMI then awesome, that's perfect.
If not look for a VGA to HDMI cord or if your TV has a VGA port on the back you can simply plug VGA to VGA.

This is where i buy most of my cords:
