I've always had a curiousity for the Neo Geo and was looking for an excuse to get the portable NeoGeoX system when I heard about it, but haven't been able to pull the trigger after watching all the reviews.

Neo Geo X could have been so much but is just meh.... Some people are working on improving it though, inofficial.

i must have found the unfavorable. I lost interest after a few. That clicking, the fact that what LOOKS like a system is just  shell...maybe later.

As a Neo Geo Pocket Color owner, the clicky thumb stick is one of the few things I think the X Gold got right.

Agreed. For a Neo-Geo system of any kind you need the clicky thumbstick. Just like the NeoGeoPocketColor and the NeoGeoCD  :)
