New Officially Licensed Sega Genesis/SNES Game

FritzWhite:

I'd love it if Nintendo brought back the 90s and sold a line of retro collection products consisting of NES and SNES. It will probably never happen, but I'd throw all of my money at them if they restarted production of the old game cartridges. They could probably sell boxed games for $20-30 each and still make a handsome profit. It'd be a great alternative to paying $50 for a Secret of Mana cart or hunting around garage sales and pawn shops all the time.

I'll buy the NES and SNES virtual downloads from them when I get a WiiU one of these days, but digital copies just aren't the same.

I'll probably eventually end up buying a bunch of repros for the expensive SNES games I want from a person who offered the service.

I think I'd shit my pants with nostalgic euphoria if Nintendo opened some of these stores again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYjgHLFZMa0

According to this, it was funded with well over the goal.
Two is on eBay, over $200 each.
One is on Amazon NEW for $400, and there a "Special LIMITED Edition" one for $10,000 "Banned in over 75 countries so far, lol"

People will buy anything.

Well, to properly answer your original question, it looks like the game was produced and shipped (as best I can tell)

Also, stop using amazon and eBay listings that haven't ended. Those don't mean anything. I can list SMB/Duck Hunt for $5K but it doesn't mean that's what it's worth.

I was just pointing ut what people are trying to sell it for. There is no chance in hell it is worth $10,000.

Falconhood:

I remember a SONIC SEGA official plug-n-play with about 30 Sega games on it sold during a Christmas season recently at Wal-Greens, and I was tempted to get it to see if you could use the SD card slot to put roms to play, or if it would only play specially made roms that they want you to pay to download from them. I have over 100 games I am not reBuying to play.

I was considering getting one of those too, but decided to pass on it after seeing this review.
