Sounds awesome, but what port on the 3DS would allow for this

Perhaps the cartridge port itself? Then you would put the game cart into a different slot on the "link device thingy"

yeah thats what I was thinking would work best, I hope they come out with something to play DS/3DS games on the TV, it would be great if it was made to work with normal DS as well
