The most amusing part of the new year over here was the Spanish Channel's coverage and even that was barely amusing. We had more fun watching my brother's pirated Rocko's Modern Life DVD. Oh well. How did the new year's celebrations go for you?

I got home about an hour before the New Year and was greeted with a wildfire raging at the pool/sports complex near my home. I spent close to an hour watering the yard to ensure that one of the local idiots didn't light my yard on fire. We had a full fire ban in effect along with a $1000 fine and yet people still shot off the fireworks for hours on end.

Alright I guess, a bit boring considering that only the grand parents came over :P My aunt and cousin came from Mexico for a couple of weeks, but they are boring too. We usually go somewhere but seeing as how my dad wanted to get wasted he didn't want to drive and we ended up staying home.

I spent most of New Year's Eve playing Rockband with my brother and his friends.
