Those models if you're looking for a full desktop replacement, but they aren't very portable . . .

The Envy and XPS each weigh about 6.3 lbs. Lenovo has options at 4lbs, and Apple at 3lbs.

The Envys are big, yes... But the XPS-14 is small, light and relatively thin.

@segaprophet
Thanks, but the tablet screen is a must. I want to use it for art mainly, and drawing is a pain with a mouse or touch pad.

Ya a Mac book air is practically junk anyway. That's just mainly a toy for those who want to "look" cool. That wouldn't work well for what he wants to do anyway.

The specs may not work well for what the OP needs, and I'm willing to accept that, but you're parroting a very outdated attitude.

People choose what works best for them, whether it be Mac, Windows, Linux or something else - this doesn't make other platforms inferior, and mature people don't automatically trash other platforms out of ignorance.

I suggest you not immediately jump on Macs and call them "junk" and "toys" and do a little research. The Mac vs PC war went out of fashion a long time ago, get with it.
