I'm linking them, I just think the spine graphic needs less contrast. The barber pole graphic takes too much precedence IMO. I think a 60-65% and 75-80% gray might work better. |

I like it if I'm honest. I can try a darker shade of gray instead of the light grey. Just looking at the cover in a case, on a shelf, it just looks good to me. My only problem is that its printing out way to dark. I'm presuming that's a printer problem tied with a paper problem? |

Post pics of them on shelves! Blacks and dark colors always print "darker". When you're working on a monitor, you're looking at projected light, not reflected. So you're NEVER going to see actual black and same goes with other darker colors. Working in CMYK and/or performing a CMYK preview before printing helps a lot. It's not a printer issue, just the nature of working with print media. |
