Can anyone give any advice for where to buy the better quality 72-pin connectors to rehab a few model 1 NES systems? Research has shown there are many junky ones out there....and my experience buying one has allowed my system to last about a year before a now and I guess a one is needed to be installed. The cartridge slot will allow slight wiggling around and there are vertical lines streaming down the tv screen when I turn the system on. No blinking light and you can somewhat see the gameplay. All of my games contacts are very clean....scrubbed, polished and cleaned with the usuals for shiny contacts.
Who has had decent experience buying new connectors that won't need replacing after a year? Where? What do you look for to know they aren't of inferior quality?
Thanks!
