Custom label requests - NES labels

Hey guys, I just wanted to put this out there if anyone can help with somewhat of a large request. Over the years, I've picked up various NES games at decent prices because their labels were damaged, torn, or in some cases, missing entirely.

In addition, along with a friend I'm been amassing a bit of a collection of reproductions and they too need labels. Here's what I need:

Note: This is a Camerica game, thus it's label is different from standard NES carts. I'll need to see about figuring out exactly what size it should be. Not a high priority label.

These are hardware hacks where the mirroring is reversed. Near-retail covers is fine, but the word "Dream" should be added to the front label and end label.


Magic of Scherazade
The end label simply says Scherazade, but I alphabetize it in the M's for Magic of. Just needs a new end label that reads Magic of Scherazade.


Snake's Revenge
I'd like this one changed to reflect it's Metal Gear background. I know it's not a very good game, but I'd like it to at least belong next to Metal Gear, not with the S's. Please change title to Metal Gear: Snake's Revenge

I've never liked the NES label for this game. Ugh, early Bomberman games all had terrible artwork!
Instead, I'd like the more Japanese/modern Bomberman used. Something like this:

Doropie isn't on your box.net though - you have Dig Dug labelled as Doropie, but Doropie isn't there.

That's a great start. I'll remove the ones you did to leave the rest that still need to be done. I have dozens more labels I need, so I hope you'll help again.

Damn,  I have a feeling I may have overwritten doropie with dig dug.  I hope not as that one took the longest, had to redraw large parts after removing the logo, so I could place it elsewhere.

I'll try and do a few more over the weekend.  I would love to see pics when you get them on the carts.

Magical Kids Doropie reuploaded

Once again, thank you very much! I have two small corrections I'd like though.

Egypt - crap, I meant to upload some photos, but I forgot. I'm pretty sure the image you used was just Human Entertainment's logo, and not specific artwork for Egypt.
The manual shows this:

So how about keeping the same everything but the image, and changing it to some generic ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs such as this:


Donkey Kong Arcade - the title is a bit too dark. The wording should leap off the label. Perhaps if you used a bright orange, or bright red outline instead of the dull red?

well, the label is mostly fine, just the image in the red window should be changed.

I've also updated the initial post with just about everything I'm looking for. When I get some time (tomorrow) I'll post as many images for use with them as I can find.

I wasn't completely happy with the Arcade part of donkey kong Arcade being below the main title - and as you wanted it changed anyway, i completely removed the existing DK logo, recoloured the background, and reinserted my own DKA logo.  I think it looks better.............  and egypt to your spec (i think)

Great! I like what you did with Egypt. That label looks excellent!

I've added more raws to the initial post. Will continue with the customs tomorrow. For now, the ones there should be very easy to work with.


Sorry to be so demanding, but that Donkey Kong Arcade label still needs a bit of work. The problem is there is no contrast with the titling. The words need to have a bright outline to be clearly visible on the label, to attract your attention to the words as soon as you look at it.

Perhaps you could use the color scheme of the modern Donkey Kong logo:

3rd time lucky? - when you said brighter red before, i thought you just meant the outline, as in the original art you linked.  Anyway, i thought the orange logo would look horrible..... i was wrong.

yes, excellent! That's exactly what I was looking for. btw, I've added more to the initial post that should be pretty easy for the most part. Contra Force might be a bit of a challenge, but I don't think the others will be.
