Yeah so that's it. Sorry if the late-May pic violates the July part of the pickups :P

It's June bro. Nice pickups!

Dear god did I really do that. -_- But thanks anyway! The PS2 stuff didn't really embrace the cheap part of game collecting since I used JJGames.com but either way I'm pleased with 'em all the same. The Goodwill around here doesn't have much in the way of games and yard sales are seldom different so it's all online or the retro store :)

Let's open June pickups with some NES classics!

Shadow Warriors and RC Pro-Am from a retro game webstore and Tiny Toons & Werewolf from a friend.

And here's a game I really wanted for a long time and finally got it. It was a trade so didn't even cost me anything. But even if it did, I really like the game, can't wait to finally play Ufouria on my NES.

Are all those CIB's? Even though the DVD boxes look nice, I sure could go for an original Ufouria box & manual with my cart  :P

Nope:
Me gots 3 carts, 2 manuals (I think English and German), and 1 box (or maybe 2).

But sure I'll scan them.

Speaking of scanning I finally rescanned the SoD box, scans upping, I'll send the box back tomorrow, thanx for the loan. :D

There is a cover on this site for Ufouria, though. It was made by BadChad. I was mainly talking about finding an original box. Although I don't plan to collect original boxes, I might do so for a few select classics if they become available.

If I remember correctly that covers was done from my scans :D

And making replica box should be easy as is replica manual as it's Black'n White and thin paper.

I bought this off a gypsy for a nickle.

Ugh.... gonna need to get a new label though.

Open up that cart, take a pic of the board, and put it up here.

Here you go.

Does anyone else find it strange that a wire runs from a resister/cap looking thing to a pin on the chip?

Got another Genesis yesterday. This one is a VA7, so I'm not planning on keeping it. It's one of the last things I need to make my Genesis YouTube video series. It looked like crap when it showed up. It didn't clean up too bad.

Armor-all that thing. I did that with a Sega CD i got a while back....it reminded me of the Aliens from the "Alien" franchise. All shiny and sexy....the system, not the Aliens.

More pickups, these I just got maybe an hour ago. Needed a new SNES controller (old one was the most disgusting thing I ever opened, chucked it in my parts bin) so I hit my retro store and grabbed this and a few other goodies.

Dino Crisis 2 (PS1) didn't come with a case or back insert but whatever, sometimes it's the game that matters.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (PS2) I could've gotten the black label version but I liked the cover art better.
Mortal Kombat (SNES). I have never played an MK game. might as well start here.

Also GameStop was across from it so I hopped in and grabbed Black Ops. All in all, good haul.

Nothing too much today. Just got Crusader of Centy in for my Genesis and Magic Sword for the SNES. Centy was one of the last games that I feel like I have to own for the Genesis. Sure theres a few left that I'll buy but nothing strikes me as must own anymore. Already got most of the big money stuff like Centy, Musha, Warsong, Grindstormer, Pier Solar (Reprint) (pre-ordered), etc, and Magic Sword just looked fun so I bought it.
