i agree. I love netflix, and will watch Star Trek on netflix, but I'm not selling my set, and even bought the latest BLURAY of Season 3 TNG.

Agreed. I prefer hard copies of my movies and games over digital. I subscribe to netflix too.

I'd love the Blu-Ray sets...but cant justify the $50+ a season...let alone the "MSRP" of $100+

Who knows. I prefer hard copies too, but I was running out of room and they were worth a moderate amount of $$$ at the time, so...

I sold my TNG ones a while back too.  I don't remember how much I got, and I missed out on getting a top return for them, but I was happy with it.  Honestly while I will always love the show it's replay value isn't as good with me.  However you'll pry my DS9 box sets out of my cold dead hands though.

depends on how much you love it.
TNG is the greatest show ever made, imo. It was hard for me too bite the bullet since I already have the DVD sets.
I love the remastering.
I paid LESS for the BluRay sets than I did for the original DVD sets a decade ago.

I'm actually in the process if re-watching TNG again after many years. I realize I haven't even seen all the episodes and forgotten a lot since I'm constantly surprised by the plots. It really is one of the best TV series ever, I'm at the beginning of 2nd season and it just keeps getting better.

I have the same feels for Stargate SG-1. lol.

also holy crap, SG-1 the complete series set went way down in price from the last i looked. may have to pick that up now ($85 from $200 msrp)

edit:   already used my allotted spending money for this check (will be posting those when then come in the mail )  but next check.. must ..own it
