I bought a turbografx on ebay and the seller told me that it had a video problems which was the screen picture would scroll from top to bottom during gameplay thinking it was a RF issue i went ahead and did a AV mod but after i did the mod it still does the same thing... :-\

I took the video/audio signal from the expansion connector

Anyone has a idea what is causing the problem ???

Thanks for the help in advanced  ;D

I've got one with the exact same issue and have had zero luck repairing it.  I'd love an answer to this one as well :(

I did the caps look fine i gave a Swipe with alcohol and i will check it out tomorrow, but now that wiggy says that he has the same issue on his no way i can't find a way to repair  :-\

Better start looking for another console; the good think is that the housing is clean and already wired for the av mod also i got the original power cable and controller ready so i just need a console....

I hope i have better luck with the master system that i'm adding to my collection and is on its way now. I better get a replacement cause i order bonks as well and from the scrolling image i can see that the console  looks nice with av output ...

I know I did a visual inspection and none were bloated or leaking.

I have a Turbografx-16 that I attempted to mod. I ruined the pin edge collectors that the hucards plug into. However, it still powers on. I'd be willing to give it to you for parts if you pay for shipping and handling. The video is fine on it.

I'll take a picture of it. If Blueprint doesn't want it, it's yours Wiggy.
