IMO, matte paper is the best for the job.  The sleeve is glossy, so why add insult to injury by inserting a glossy cover that will just cause more glare and reflections?
*writes this stuff down*

Okay, so matte paper is a definite. Legal (8.5x14") is recommended for the universal cases, right?

Also, where can I find this magical type of paper? I've searched Walmart.com, Bestbuy.com, Epson, HP... They all failed me!

Legal paper is hard to find at retailers; you're better off shopping at a local paper center, or looking one up online.

Office supply stores like Office Max, Office Depot & Staples are great places to find Legal paper.

For those of you in Texas, you could always try Clampitt Paper Co.

http://www.clampitt.com/

Another one is called Olmsted-Kirk, "OK Paper".

Anyone had trouble with printing with the paint program on Windows 8. The only problem I am having is when I want to adjust the width pixel wise it automatically adjusts the height as well. If I put the horizontal at 3225 it automatically puts the vertical at 2012. Can anyone tell me how to get around this ? Thanks

Never mind I just figured it out for myself. Had to uncheck the little box below.

I'm having issues printing with Paint too. About half of the covers I try to print don't seem to scale coorectly in the Page Setup screen.

As you can see, even though I've changed the paper to legal size and selected landscape the image is too large for a single page. Trying to fit the image to one page still makes the image too large for UGC's.

Print at 32% scale and the cover comes out correct size.

Ha... if only this was asked and answered a week ago.  Well maybe it has been but I haven't seen it.  Wasted some prints through trial and error and 32% was probably like the 3rd or 4th try when I figured this out.  None the less, good that it's here in case I forget in the future.

It has been answered way way way long time ago:
