Mutant Warriors Yoshi no Cookie --- End quote --- I wouldn't call those games obscure. I'd suggest Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon R, those are pretty fun beat 'em ups in style of Final Fight. As for RPGs I'd suggest Hourai Gakuen no Bouken, Magic Knight Rayearth, Madou Monogatari or Emerald Dragon, though you might want to get those on repro carts with the translated versions. And if you want to go really obscure, seek out Dezaemon - Not really a game, but a program to make your own shmups. |

There's a pretty sweet game called Marvelous (can't recall JP name). It's very Zelda/Secret of Mana-ish. A tad text heavy, but excellent. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvelous:_Mōhitotsu_no_Takarajima |

Only home game I'd seek out would be Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Another Story; the SFC RPG (where, obviously, you'd want to seek out a translated version) --- Quote from: wiggy on May 13, 2013, 11:55:11 AM ---There's a pretty sweet game called Marvelous (can't recall JP name).
